A bit more about AMI…
AMI is a regulatory lobbying trade association that advocates for the interests of mortgage intermediaries in the UK. AMI champions the value of professional mortgage advice and the intermediary sector. Our purpose is to monitor, review and feed back on legislative or regulatory changes, working with our member firms, other trade bodies and business partners to promote the importance of advice in the intermediated mortgage and protection sectors.
AMI’s main purpose is to respond to all relevant FCA and government Discussion and Consultation Papers, to provide our members with support in understanding new regulatory Policy Statements. We will also negotiate with all relevant parties to ensure that government, regulators, consumers and the wider financial services industry understand the instrumental role that intermediaries currently play in the UK mortgage market.
