Mortgage Deed Witness Requirements

The witness must be fully known to the applicant(s) and must be a permanent UK resident at the time of witnessing the signatures.

For the signing of the Mortgage Deed (England & Wales), the witness must NOT be a relative of the applicant(s), reside in the security address or be involved in the transaction, i.e. the broker or the introducing broker.

For the signing of the Standard Security (Scotland), the witness must NOT be a relative of the applicant(s) or reside in the security address.

Proof of Overtime, Bonus and Commission

As a new tax year has started, please remember that until a July payslip is available, we’ll need the latest P60 or March payslip to evidence variable income.

Re-Submitting Cases

Whilst an application is in ‘Pending Unlocked’ status, any new document uploads will not trigger a notification for Pepper to review. We will only review any new uploads when the case has been re-submitted.

We will still receive notifications for any messages sent on the chat function whilst the case is unlocked.
