What we’ll need:
Newly qualified teachers
- A teaching contract starting within six months of the mortgage application
- Confirmation of salary and start date
- A contract fully signed and dated by both the applicant and the employer
- Evidence of affordability between application and employment start date may be requested by our underwriters
Supply teachers
- A minimum of 12 months’ contracting history in the teaching profession
- Latest payslip(s) or invoice(s), latest P60
- Latest month’s bank statement
- Current contract, where available
- Income to be calculated using lower of annualised year to date on latest payslip or P60
