Axa withdrawal
From 31 March 2026 Axa will be withdrawing from Paymentshield’s Landlord’s Insurance panel due to a change in risk appetite. Until that date, Axa will honour all new business applications.
Please ensure that any Paymentshield Landlord’s Insurance quotes where Axa are the insurer are submitted with a start date on or before 31 March 2026.
In preparation for their withdrawal, all Axa quotes will have a reduced quote validity period which will expire on the 31 March, compared to the usual 60 or 90 day period.
Arkel appointment
From early March, Arkel will be joining the Paymentshield Landlord’s Insurance panel.
This appointment will further enable Paymentshield to widen its footprint to support a greater proportion of landlords including those who are operating as limited companies and landlords renting to students.
Paymentshield are planning to further strengthen their Landlord’s Insurance panel over the coming months, adding additional capabilities to providing as many landlords as possible with access to quality insurance designed around their specialist needs.
Paymentshield Landlord’s Insurance is rated 5 stars by Defaqto, meaning it provides a high-level of features and benefits compared to others in the market.
