Pregnancy and baby loss can be devastating, bringing emotional and practical challenges at a time when families may feel least prepared.
We’ve expanded the support available to Zurich Life Protection customers with Pregnancy Loss Support, a specialised programme available through Empathy Loss SupportTM.
The service provides personalised support following a miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal loss. It is available to both birthing and non-birthing parents for up to two years after a loss, including families facing an anticipated pregnancy loss such as a termination.
Available within the Empathy Loss Support app, customers can access:
- A personalised care plan tailored to their circumstances and type of loss
- Articles, guides and practical resources
- Grief and wellbeing tools, including guided meditations and audio content
- A private journalling space
- A Family Hub, where up to five loved ones can coordinate support
- UK-based care managers through scheduled calls and in-app messaging
This service complements our Pregnancy and Early Childhood Cover, helping families access practical, emotional and financial support when they need it most.
